A Bohemian Line for Women, By Women

Margaret Kleveland and her sister, Katherine, had always talked about starting a clothing line together, but they put it off for years. Katherine was the executive vice-president of design at Joie while Margaret worked in design development at B&B footwear, but eventually they both lost interest in running companies owned by men. So they found five female partners to help them make their line, Dôen, a reality.

Their goal was to provide something they felt the market was missing: casual, contemporary, bohemian staples infused with their own personal love of California. All of the materials are made from fresh, breathable fabrics and feature intricate handwork. See some of our favorite looks below.
