Gigabyte updates its Aero laptops with new processors and graphics

The Aero laptops of the company make reference to very compact models, of reduced thickness and weight, with great power inside.

Gigabyte has decided that it is time to upgrade their more stylish laptops, the Aero family, with new Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics. The processor chosen for the 3 updated models is the Core i7-8750H, with a base speed of 2.2 GHz and boost of 4.1 GHz. For the graphics power, these laptops come with NVIDIA Optimus, which automatically makes the change of integrated graphics a dedicated according to the use that we are giving the computer. The integrated graphic is an Intel HD 620 and the dedicated one varies according to the models that we will mention now.

The smallest of all is the Gigabyte Aero 14, which has a 14 “screen with IPS QHD resolution panel (2560×1440), the maximum RAM will be 32 GB in two modules of 16 GB, and will allow the use of 2 SSD M.2 2280 (includes a 512 GB SATA drive) The dedicated graphics for this option is an NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti 4GB.

Raising the bar a bit we have the Gigabyte Aero 15, a model with 15.6 “screen with IPS panel resolution FHD at 144 Hz. RAM configuration is similar to the previous model, and the SSD that accompanies it will be the same. model comes an NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB.

Arriving at the top model, the Gigabyte Aero 15X, we have the same screen size but you can choose between FHD or 4K resolution, with the 4K having 100% sRGB. The panel, in the case of FHD, also goes to 144 Hz as in the previous model. The maximum RAM is also 32 GB and the SSD that is included becomes 512 GB PCI-e. The graphics in this option is an NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB.

In all variants, the screen leaves the factory with an X-Rite Pantone calibration that ensures a good visualization of the colors. The keyboard of these models is backlit by individual RGB LEDs. The battery is 94.24 Wh and its thickness never exceeds 1.9 cm, and its weight does not exceed 2.1 Kg (without battery).
