A little status check with the Google Store shows that Pixel sales are being queued past capacity, at least in the US. And sure, the limited edition “Really Blue” Pixel and Pixel XL got gobbled up really fast, but we’re seeing lack of stock for the other two colors of both size of phones.

The Very Silver and Quite Black 5-inch Pixel is still available from Google in both 32GB and 128GB capacities, but you’ll be waiting for up to five weeks to get it at your doorstep. The Pixel XL is completely sold out and a waitlist has formed for notifications on when new stock will come in.

In the meantime, it’s your local carrier or bust. And that’s not really a desirable situation for many, especially in the developer community. Oh well, at least we got our orders in and we hope to deliver reviews on these phones relatively soon.
