How do you line graph in excel 2007 showing a particular type of weekly data?

I have an excel spreadsheet where there are 20-30 transactions a day with 10 or so different types of transaction types. I’d like to show in excel the weekly trends of a specific type of data. Any ideas?

You can list your transactions by date and transaction type and then produce a Scatter Chart from the data. Each transaction type would be charted as its own series which should make it relatively easy to see what was happening with each type of transaction.

You can also use Pivot tables and charts to summarize your data and to chart the summaries.
