The wait is over… well, sort of. Apple has officially unveiled iOS 10, but the new iPhone and iPad-friendly update won’t hit your device until later this year – sometime in the autumn, to be slightly more precise. Ensure you opt for the now downloadable iOS 10 public betathat is.
With new iOS 10 features aplenty on their way – we’re talking everything from a facial recognition-equipped Photos app to a smarter Siri, via a reworked Messages app that includes larger emoji – Apple’s latest release is shaping up to be a serious, sizeable update.
With so many goodies in store though, the upcoming iOS 10 release has left millions around the world pondering the same question: ‘Will my device support iOS 10?’ Well ponder no more. Apple has confirmed the list of iOS 10 compatible devices. If your handset, tablet or iPod is listed below, good news – you’ve been given the green light!
WILL MY IPHONE RUN IOS 10?
f you’re still rocking an old iPhone 4 or 4S, you might want to get with the times and upgrade your handset as your existing model’s been omitted from the update list – sorry folks. Although the iPhone 7 is expected to land within days of the iOS 10 update, running the new software direct from the box, if you’ve got one of these, you won’t need a new handset to enjoy all the iOS 10 goodness.
