The next-generation watch software may bring highly-anticipated, native sleep tracking features and blood oxygen monitoring to the wearable platform. But that’s not all.

A closer look within a leaked copy of iOS 14 suggests the company is adding several new watch faces to its Apple Watches, including a not-yet-seen-before International watch faces (shown below).

According to the leaked iOS 14 code, the new International watch face will display flags from a variety of different countries, including the US, UK, Brazil, and others.

Presumably, there will complications associated with each of these faces. What these complications will do is not yet known.

A previous leak hinted at another new watch face called Infograph Pro. Based on the existing Infograph watch faces, this new Infograph Pro in watchOS 7 has a built-in tachymeter. This tachymeter will surround the dial and has a scale that is used to measure speed based on the time it takes to travel a fixed distance.

Beyond watch faces, watchOS 7 may also support the sharing of personal watch faces. This feature would allow people to create a custom watch face and send it to another watch owner using Messages, AirDrop, among other apps. The sharing feature likely won’t apply to all watch faces, though. Brand-specific watch faces from companies like Nike and Hermès may remain exclusive to the watches on which they ship.

Apple may take the final wraps off watchOS 7 during WWDC 2020 later this spring. The next version of watchOS likely will be released publicly later this year, possibly alongside Apple Watch Series 6.
