A new Trade Up With Installments plan from Apple will allow consumers to hand in a used iPhone, Android, or Windows device and apply the value to a new iGadget, which can be paid off in installments over 24 months.

Assuming you’ve kept your handset in pristine condition over the years, it’s possible to earn a max trade-in value of $100 for the iPhone 4 and 4s to $350 for a good-as-new iPhone 6 Plus.

Monthly payments, meanwhile, range from $15 to $35, depending on which new model and storage option you choose.

making the move from a six-year-old iPhone 4 to the 128GB bells-and-whistles iPhone 6s Plus$649.00 at Apple Store will cost $35.37 per month. Swap an iPhone 5 for the next-gen 6, however, and you’ll pay only $14.54 every month. The new U.S.-only plan is available exclusively at Apple Stores.

It joins Cupertino’s baseline trade-in program and theiPhone Upgrade Program introduced in September. The latter allows customers to pay Apple, not a carrier, for a new iPhone over 24 months and swap their phone for a new one after the first 12 months.

Trade Up With Installments doesn’t allow swaps every year; you have to pay it off before getting a new device. But it lets you avoid big up-front costs and select an older model iPhone.
