Grab your skinny vanilla latte and take a seat, because we’ve got big news: Starbucks is now serving alcoholic slushies. But before you make happy hour plans stat, know that so far the chain is only serving up these drinks in Japan. Womp. Officially called the Wine Fraggino, the concoction is basically a Frappuccino-esque slush made with a specialty blueberry wine in lieu of caffeine. (That means imbibers won’t have to worry about falling prey to the Red Bull-vodka effect—unless they order their drink with a side of espresso).
This delicious-looking drink is already popping up all over Instagram—and word is that folks have been flocking to the Tokyo Starbucks where it debuted as early as 10 a.m. for a taste of the novelty cocktail. No word yet on whether this bevvy will make its way to a ‘Bucks near you anytime soon, but here’s hoping!
