When thinking of airplane food, our first thought tends to be “ugh, I’ll eat when I get off the plane.” Plane conditions are not very conducive to tasty food. This is generally because plane air tends to be pretty dry, hence the often chewy or stale dishes. However, it’s not always the case. There are certain airlines out there that make some really top-notch food.
They season and cook their meals with care, store them correctly, and even have some pretty impressive chefs behind the scenes. Airlines like KLM, Air Japan and some that you probably have never heard of are famous for their in-flight dishes. Take a look at some of these tantalizing meals in the sky.
Air Japan
As we have seen, many airlines might accommodate passengers around the world with nontraditional foods, but Air Japan is one of the few that embrace their cuisine. Their inflight meal consists of various tantalizing Japanese foods.
Their dish is made up of nine compartments each filled with delicious delicacies. You also get a hot cup of miso soup on the side.
